Thin hemp square stole (unevenly dyed)
100% hemp yarn is used for the warp and weft. It has a more sheer and rough texture than regular hemp fabric. Hemp is a strong fiber, but over time it gradually becomes more accustomed to the skin, allowing you to enjoy the change in texture from linen to cotton. The cool feel that is characteristic of hemp persists even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in the middle of summer. For more information on the history of hemp cloth, please refer to the article by Yoshida Shinichiro, Director of the Early Modern Linen Research Institute , and for more information on the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please refer to the article by Boeken .
The design is a square-shaped scarf. It can be worn in a variety of ways, either wrapped around the neck or draped over the shoulders. If you fold it in half diagonally, it will become longer and easier to wrap. Each piece is individually hand-dyed, giving each piece its own unique look. Combined with the transparency of the fabric, the colors and patterns overlap like layers when worn around the neck, creating a beautiful effect.
