Khadi Dishcloth
This cloth uses Khadi made in West Bengal, India, where both the warp and weft are hand-spun and hand-woven. For more information on hand-spinning, please refer to the link to the outer fabric spinning section and the blog of our supplier, CALICO . The unevenness created by hand-spinning and hand-weaving relatively short-fiber Desi cotton gives it a texture like a second skin, and it is beautiful even when light shines through it. The occasional random borders are created by the change in the fine thread lot used in the handwork, and are also one of the characteristics of this cloth.
We stocked the scraps that were generated when cutting other products using the above fabric, and cut them again to fit the size of the scraps and sewed them again as dishcloths.
