Lao hand-woven cotton dishcloth
SC-62 Lao Hand-woven Cotton Dish TowelThis fabric was planned by HPE (Handicraft Promotion Enterprise), organized by Yukiko Tani in Luang Namtha in northern Laos. Cotton grown by the local Lenten (Langteng) ethnic minority is hand-spun on a single spinning wheel, dyed with indigo within the local community, and hand-woven. MITTAN uses this fabric to make products.
*The edges of the fabric are left uncut. The edges will come undone with each use, but if this bothers you, you can cut them off with scissors. If you have any questions about how to dispose of the fabric, please contact us.
