IROIRO Rag-Weave Stole
We ordered a special MITTAN colour of rag-weave fabric made by iroiro zero waste in Jaipur, India. Remnant fabric that would otherwise be discarded at the factory is torn into strips and used as the weft, woven alternately with ordinary cotton thread to create a bold ridged texture.
This is a stole measuring approximately 90 cm × 180 cm. It is a versatile item that can be used in many ways, such as for interior decoration, as a stole, or as a lap blanket.
*As leftover fabric is reused, there will be large individual differences in colour. Also, please note that weaving steps and slight weaving errors are characteristics of the fabric.
*As handwoven fabric is used, there are individual differences in size and texture. Please consider weaving quirks, knots in the threads and any pilling as part of the look. As it is less strong than machine-woven fabric, please avoid putting it under excessive strain. We are always happy to advise on care.
*Due to the washing process after sewing, the colour and size may vary slightly from item to item.
