Small Khadi pullover (red iron oxide dye)
SH-02RB Khadi Pullover Small (Bengara Dyed) This pullover uses khadi made in West Bengal, India, where both the warp and weft are hand-spun and hand-woven. For more information on hand-spinning, please refer to the link to the outer fabric spinning section and the blog of our supplier, CALICO . The unevenness created by hand-spinning and hand-weaving relatively short-fiber desi cotton gives it a texture like a second skin, and is beautiful even when light is shined through it. The occasional random borders are created by the fine changes in the yarn lots used in the handwork, and are also one of the features of this pullover.
The uneven texture of the Khadi yarn makes it comfortable against the skin, and it doesn't stick to your skin even when you sweat, so you can wear it comfortably even in the summer. The split raglan sleeves and short length ensure a moderate amount of movement, and the collar stands up nicely even after repeated washing, giving it a more neat impression than a T-shirt.
*Because we use hand-woven fabric, there are individual differences in size and texture. Please consider the weaving habits, knots in the thread, and pilling as part of the expression. As it is weaker than machine-woven fabric, please avoid excessive strain. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about care.
*Natural pigments are fixed with natural rubber, so there is a natural unevenness. To avoid color transfer, avoid combining with light colors and be sure to wash it separately from other items the first 1-2 times. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item may vary slightly.
