Cotton silk willow big shirt (plant dyed)

This is a yew fabric woven in Enshu, with cotton threads for the warp and cotton strong twist and silk threads for the weft, woven slowly at a low speed. The alternating use of strong twist and normal thread creates a moderately soft texture and a unique look. This fabric is woven on a rapier loom, a modified shuttle loom, carefully avoiding applying strong tension to the thin parts of the slub yarn, bringing out a soft texture like hand-woven fabric. This shirt has a wide silhouette with a large amount of room in the body. Although it is a generous amount of fabric, it is made of soft material, so it has a natural wavy and drape. Although it has a flat silhouette, the gusset from the cuffs to the hem covers the thickness of the body while ensuring freedom of movement. The hem has a natural curve and is turned over. The buttons are made of shell.

Handling Instructions

*As this item uses strong twisted yarn, it may stretch when worn, but if you adjust the size after washing and hang it out to dry, it will return to its original size. Please consider the knots and unevenness of the yarn, which are unique to natural materials, as part of the fabric's appearance. Please be careful as pulling on the knots in the yarn may cause it to break. *Dyed with dyes extracted from plants and insects, there is a natural unevenness. As there is a possibility of color transfer, avoid using it with light-colored items at first, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade.
