Soft hemp big shirt (plant dyed)
The fabric is similar in thickness to standard hemp fabric, but the weave density is a little tighter, and after weaving, the fabric is processed at a finishing factory in Shiga, softening the hemp-specific stiffness in advance. It is characterized by having the softness that regular plain weave hemp gets from long-term wear from the start. For more information on the history of hemp cloth, see the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, director of the Modern Linen Research Institute , and for more information on the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, see Boken's article .
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Enjoy the unevenness of the plant dye and the changes that occur over time. To prevent color transfer, avoid using with light-colored items, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. Sweat and light may cause discoloration, so please handle with care and store in an area exposed to sunlight or fluorescent lights for long periods of time. (Walnut)
*Dyed with natural indigo. The color will become lighter with repeated use. As there is a possibility of color transfer, avoid using with light-colored items at first, wash with neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. As this is product dyed, the color and size of each item will vary slightly. (Indigo, Indigo x Walnut)
