Hemp long sleeve pullover (dark plant dye)
100% hemp threads are used for the warp and weft. Hemp is a strong fiber, but as it ages it gradually becomes more comfortable against the skin, and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton-like. The cool feel that is characteristic of hemp persists even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in the middle of summer. Please refer to the article by Yoshida Shinichiro, Director of the Modern Linen Research Institute, for the history of hemp cloth, and to Boeken's article for details on the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax.
This oversized pullover leaves plenty of space between the body and the fabric, giving the impression of freedom as if you're not even wearing anything. The V-shaped Henley neckline and single button create a simple design. The shoulders are gusseted to allow for freedom of movement around the shoulders. Another characteristic is the loose silhouette, which makes it easy to put on and take off. The buttons are hand-sewn using camel bone buttons made in India.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Please enjoy the unevenness of the plant dye and the changes that occur over time. To prevent color transfer, avoid using it with light-colored items, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade.
The color may fade due to sweat or light, so please store it away from sunlight and fluorescent lights and handle it with care. (Walnut (dark), mugwort (dark), horse chestnut (dark))
*Dyed with natural indigo. The color will become lighter with repeated use. As there is a possibility of color transfer, avoid using with light-colored items at first, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. Each item has a slightly different color and size. (Indigo (dark))
*Enjoy the unevenness of plant dyes and how they change over time. To prevent color transfer due to friction, avoid using with light-colored items, wash separately with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. Sweat and sunlight can cause discoloration, so please store and handle with care. (Persimmon tannin x red iron oxide, Persimmon tannin x ink, Indigo x turmeric x ink)
