Short-sleeved hemp open-collar shirt

100% hemp yarn is used for the warp and weft. Hemp is a strong fiber, but over time it gradually becomes more comfortable against the skin, allowing you to enjoy the change in texture from linen to cotton. The cool feel that is characteristic of hemp persists even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in the middle of summer. The shirt is proposed as a piece of clothing that makes up modern ethnic clothing. While the construction follows the rules of Western clothing, the design has been stripped down as much as possible, with the pattern being based on functionality. Specifically, the sleeve caps are tucked in and the bottom sleeves are set higher to ensure freedom of movement around the arms, and the back yoke is tucked in rather than gathered, ensuring freedom of movement in the back. It is a basic silhouette that will become a new standard. The buttons are made of freshwater pearl.

Handling Instructions

*There may be knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please think of this as part of the fabric's appearance. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break or create holes. *Dyed with sharinbai (Japanese sedge) and mordanted with mud. Avoid using with light-colored items. Wash alone with a mild detergent and dry in the shade. Scuffs, stiffness of the fabric, and mud particles that appear during washing will gradually settle. Because this is a garment dyed item, the color and size will vary slightly from item to item.
