Wool and linen checkered short-sleeved open-collar shirt
This product uses original fabric woven in the Boshu region. The base of the fabric is wool, which has properties that make it comfortable to wear even in summer. In addition, linen is woven into the grid-like lines. The different shrinkage rates of linen and wool create a unique uneven texture on the surface, and the material is characterized by its non-clingy feel against the skin. Normally, the warp threads are wound onto one beam (a large bobbin-like device for winding warp threads), but in order to use warp threads with different properties, a time-consuming double-beam method is used for weaving.
This is a short-sleeved shirt with a moderately loose fit and a functional, minimalist design. The open collar is designed to be small, and the armhole is set high by incorporating gathers into the sleeve head, ensuring ample movement around the arms. The back has no yoke, and instead of tucks or gathers, gathers are used to naturally accommodate the movement of the back. The fabric, a wool and linen check that has been a staple in the past, has been incorporated into a new basic silhouette. Shell buttons are used for the buttons.
