Stretch NM wool shirt
Wool fabric woven in Bishu has a soft texture that is comfortable against bare skin, and is firm and resilient. The selection of raw materials and the twisting method are optimized to achieve natural stretchability in both the vertical and horizontal directions. Top-dyeing, which involves dyeing the wool while it is still in its cotton state, gives the color depth and richness. In addition, the raw materials used are not mulesed (the removal of skin and flesh without anesthesia as a sanitary treatment for the folds of a sheep's buttocks and pubic area), reducing the burden on the sheep.
The shirt is proposed as a Western garment that can be used as part of modern ethnic clothing. The construction follows the rules of Western clothing, but the design has been stripped away as much as possible, with the pattern being based on functionality. Specifically, the sleeve cap is tucked in and the bottom of the sleeve is set higher to ensure freedom of movement around the arms, and the yoke on the back is tucked rather than gathered, ensuring freedom of movement in the back. Shell buttons are used.
