OC Multi-Color Slub Short Sleeve Shirt
The warp and weft threads are made of organic cotton slub yarn. While slub yarn made by conventional machine spinning has a uniform unevenness, this yarn is made by hand, creating an uneven difference in thickness, resulting in a unique finish with an extreme unevenness of up to about 3 times. The fabric is woven in the Enshu region using a rapier loom, which is a shuttle loom modified in a unique way, and is woven slowly so as not to put stress on the thin parts of the slub yarn. This brings out the characteristics of the yarn and results in a fabric with a soft texture similar to hand-weaving.
This shirt is designed with a functional pattern that follows the structure of Western clothing while minimizing embellishments._ The inclusion of shoulder gathers ensures freedom of movement around the shoulders, and slits in the sides increase the range of motion._ The fabric itself is stretchy, conforming to movement and reducing strain on the body._ Cat-eye shell buttons are used, and their concave shape in the center minimizes thread wear, ensuring durability.
