High-density hemp short-sleeved shirt (dark plant dye)
100% hemp yarn is used for the warp and weft. Because it's a finer count than regular hemp fabric, it has a denser weave and a more refined appearance. Hemp is a strong fiber, but over time it gradually becomes more comfortable against the skin, allowing you to enjoy the change in texture from linen to cotton. The cool feel characteristic of hemp persists even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in the middle of summer. For more information on the history of hemp cloth, please refer to the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, director of the Early Modern Linen Research Institute , and for more information on the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please refer to the article by Boeken .
This shirt is designed with a functional pattern that minimizes ornamentation while following the structure of Western clothing. Gussets at the shoulders ensure freedom of movement around the shoulders, and slits at the sides increase the range of motion. The fabric itself is stretchy, so it conforms to your movements and reduces strain on the body. The buttons are made of cat's eye shell, and their shape with a recess in the center reduces thread wear and ensures excellent durability.
