Organic Cotton Flannel Shirt (Plant Dye)

A flannel fabric made from bioRe COTTON organic cotton grown in Tanzania. Fulled and brushed, this twill fabric is soft and warm yet light, and can be worn across a wide range of seasons by adjusting what is worn beneath it. bioRe COTTON is organic cotton produced by the bioRe PROJECT, run in India and Tanzania. Rather than simply buying up organic cotton, the project builds various structures to help the people who live in these regions become self-reliant. With around 5,000 contracted farms in India and Tanzania, it is known as one of the largest and most advanced projects of its kind in the world.

An oversized open-collar shirt with a comfortable amount of ease through the body and sleeves. The fit has been adjusted so it can be worn on its own, or over a thin knit. A bag-shaped pocket on the left chest lets moisture escape and keeps the silhouette clean.

Handling Instructions

*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fibre lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric. *Enjoy the natural unevenness and ageing of the plant dye. To prevent colour transfer, avoid using with light-coloured items at first, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. It may discolour in reaction to alkaline or acidic substances and to perspiration, so please take care. (Walnut, Coffee) *Dyed with natural indigo.
