Linen Ramie Silk Shirt
An original fabric with a domestically spun blend of two bast fibres — linen and ramie — in the warp and silk in the weft. Blending ramie with the linen softens the characteristic sag of linen, while the silk weft makes it gentler against the skin and brings out neps, so it feels pleasantly worn-in from the very first wearing. For more on the differences between linen, ramie and hemp, see this article by Boken.
A design with a deep overlap at the centre front. The front edges, hem and collar are left with raw, unfinished edges for a relaxed look. With the wide waist cord you can wear it tied rather than buttoned, so it lends itself to different ways of wearing. The cuffs adjust with a button and loop. The buttons are shell buttons with a rough, natural surface.
