Khadi wide shirt
The khadi used is hand-spun and hand-woven in West Bengal, India. For more information on hand-spinning, please refer to the link to the outer fabric spinning section and the blog of CALICO , the supplier. The unevenness created by hand-spinning and hand-weaving relatively short-fiber desi cotton gives it a texture like another skin, and it is beautiful even when lit through. The random borders that can be seen from time to time are created by the fine changes in the yarn lots used by hand, and are also one of the features. This item is designed as a shirt with a relaxed fit, but it can also be worn as a haori by opening the top or fastening only one button. There are no buttons on the cuffs, making it easy to roll up, so you can adjust the balance while wearing it. In addition, the sewing thread is all cotton thread No. 30, giving it a soft finish, making it comfortable to wear even against bare skin. Takase shell buttons are used on the placket.
*Because we use hand-woven fabric, there are individual differences in size and texture. Please consider the weaving habits, knots in the thread, and pilling as part of the expression. As it is weaker than machine-woven fabric, please avoid excessive strain. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about care.
*Dyed in dark colors. Please avoid mixing with light colors to avoid color transfer. To prevent color fading, use a dry-cleaning detergent and dry in the shade. Due to post-production processing, the color and size of each item may vary slightly.
