Khadi Wide Shirt (Bengara Dyed) (Reinforced)
SH-17BH Khadi Wide Shirt (Bengara Dyed) (Reinforced) This shirt uses Khadi, which is hand-spun and hand-woven in West Bengal, India. For more information on hand-spinning, please refer to the link to the outer fabric spinning section and the blog of our supplier, CALICO . The unevenness created by hand-spinning and hand-weaving relatively short-fiber Desi Cotton gives it a texture like another skin, and it is beautiful even when lit through the light. The random borders that can be seen from time to time are created by the fine changes in the yarn lot by handwork, and are also one of the characteristics. By adding reinforcing stitches to the placket, hem, cuffs, and AH, the strength is increased and the cotton thread shrinks to create a three-dimensional line. This item is designed as a shirt with a sense of roominess around the body, but it can also be used as a haori by opening the top or fastening only one button. The cuffs of the sleeves have no buttons and are easy to roll up, so you can wear it while adjusting the balance. In addition, the sewing thread is all cotton thread #30, giving it a soft finish, making it comfortable to wear even on bare skin. The placket is made of Takase shell buttons.
*Because we use hand-woven fabric, there are individual differences in size and texture. Please consider the weaving habits, knots in the thread, and pilling as part of the expression. As it is weaker than machine-woven fabric, please avoid excessive strain. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about care.
*Natural pigments are fixed with natural rubber, so there is a natural unevenness. To avoid color transfer, avoid combining with light colors and be sure to wash it separately from other items the first 1-2 times. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item may vary slightly.
