kala cotton shirt
For details on kala cotton, produced by KHAMIR, an NGO in Kutch, India, please click here . The raw cotton used for kala cotton is the original Helbacheum variety, which has not been bred, and is characterised by its very low environmental impact, as it does not require pesticides and requires only a small amount of water. The short-fibre raw cotton is spun by local machines and woven by artisans in local villages.
*Because we use hand-woven fabric, there are individual differences in size and texture. Please consider the weaving habits, knots in the thread, and pilling as part of the expression. As it is weaker than machine-woven fabric, please avoid excessive strain. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about care.
