SH-34
0 count khadi shirt
SH-340 count khadi shirt. Made from khadi yarn that is hand-spun and hand-woven in West Bengal, India. For more information on hand-spinning, please refer to the link to the outer fabric spinning section and the blog of our supplier, CALICO . 0 count means that the yarn is spun so thickly that it cannot be counted. It has a textured feel and contains a lot of air, so the fabric itself adjusts temperature and humidity, making it comfortable to wear even in the middle of summer.
The shirt is proposed as a piece of Western clothing that can be worn in modern ethnic wear. While following the rules of Western clothing, the design has been stripped away as much as possible, and the pattern is based on functionality. Specifically, the sleeve cap is tucked in and the bottom of the sleeve is set higher to allow for more movement around the arms, and the yoke on the back is tucked rather than gathered, allowing for more movement in the back. All sewing threads are made of cotton thread no. 30, which gives the garment a soft finish, making it comfortable to wear even against bare skin. The placket uses fabric selvedge to convey the texture of the hand-woven fabric, and the buttons, made from nat, a type of Tagwa palm, are all hand-sewn.
*Because we use hand-woven fabric, there are individual differences in size and texture. Please consider the weaving habits, knots in the thread, and pilling as part of the expression. As it is weaker than machine-woven fabric, please avoid excessive strain. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about care.
*Dyed with natural indigo. The color will become lighter with repeated use. To avoid color transfer, please avoid wearing with light-colored items. When washing, use a neutral detergent and dry in the shade. Do not mix with other clothes, and always wash separately.
