Taima Haori shirt (indigo dyed at Kumiko Mori's studio)
SH-42MM hemp haori shirt (indigo dyed at Kumiko Mori's studio) 100% hemp thread is used for the warp and weft. Hemp is a strong fiber, but it gradually becomes more comfortable against the skin over time, and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton-like. The cool feel that is characteristic of hemp remains even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in the middle of summer. For more information on the history of hemp cloth, please see the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, director of the Institute of Modern Linen Cloth , and for more information on the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please see the article by Boken .
*Dyed with natural indigo. The color will become lighter with repeated use. Since there is a possibility of color transfer, please refrain from using it with light-colored items at first, wash it with a neutral detergent, and dry it in the shade. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item will vary slightly.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
