SH-43Bkala Cotton Haori Shirt (Bengara Dyed)For more information on kala cotton, produced by KHAMIR, an NGO in Kutch, India, please click here . The raw cotton of kala cotton is the original Helbacheum species that has not been bred, and it is characterized by its very low environmental impact as it does not require pesticides and only requires a small amount of water. The raw cotton with short fiber length is spun on a local machine and woven by artisans in local villages. The yarn is strongly twisted, so it has a natural texture = elasticity, and naturally fits the body. The occasional random borders are created by changes in the fine yarn lots of the handmade work, and are also one of the characteristics.
*Because we use hand-woven fabric, there are individual differences in size and texture. Please consider the weaving habits, knots in the thread, and pilling as part of the expression. As it is weaker than machine-woven fabric, please avoid excessive strain. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about care.
*Natural pigments are fixed with natural rubber, so there is a natural unevenness. To avoid color transfer, avoid combining with light colors and be sure to wash it separately from other items the first 1-2 times. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item may vary slightly.
