The raw cotton used for kala cotton is the original Helbaceum variety that has not been bred, and it is characterized by its very low environmental impact as it does not require pesticides and requires only a small amount of water. While the amvirka , which is more productive than the single needle, is currently mainstream, the yarn is spun little by little by the women of the local villages and woven by hand. The occasional random borders are created by the fine changes in the yarn lots used in the handwork, and are also one of the characteristics of the fabric.

*Natural pigments are fixed with natural rubber, so there is a natural unevenness. To avoid color transfer, avoid combining with light colors and be sure to wash it separately from other items the first 1-2 times. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item may vary slightly.
