kala cotton pullover small (red iron oxide dye)
SH-54Bkala Cotton Pullover Small (Bengara Dyed)For more information on kala cotton, produced by KHAMIR, an NGO in Kutch, India, please see here . The raw cotton of kala cotton is the original Helbacheum species that has not been bred, and it is characterized by its very low environmental impact because it does not require pesticides and only requires a small amount of water. The short-fiber raw cotton is spun by local machines and woven by artisans in local villages. The yarn is strongly twisted, so it has a natural texture = elasticity, so it naturally fits the body. The random borders that sometimes appear are created by changes in the fine yarn lots of the handmade work, and this is also one of the characteristics. The unevenness and natural texture of the yarn of kala cotton makes it comfortable against the skin, and it does not stick to your skin even when you sweat, so you can wear it comfortably even in the summer. The split raglan sleeves and short length ensure a moderate amount of movement, and the collar that stands up beautifully even after repeated washing gives a more neat impression than a T-shirt.
*Because we use hand-woven fabric, there are individual differences in size and texture. Please consider the weaving habits, knots in the thread, and pilling as part of the expression. As it is weaker than machine-woven fabric, please avoid excessive strain. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about care.
*Natural pigments are fixed with natural rubber, so there is a natural unevenness. To avoid color transfer, avoid combining with light colors and be sure to wash it separately from other items the first 1-2 times. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item may vary slightly.
