Hemp pullover 3 (plant dyed)
100% hemp thread is used for the warp and weft. Hemp is a strong fiber, but it gradually becomes more familiar with the skin over time, and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton. The cool touch, which is a characteristic of hemp, continues even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in midsummer. For the history of hemp cloth, please refer to the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, director of the Modern Linen Research Institute , and for the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please refer to the article by Boken . This oversized pullover has bold tucks in the placket to create a lot of space between the body and the fabric, giving it a sense of freedom as if you are not wearing it. The shoulders are tucked to ensure freedom of movement around the shoulders. The gently rising collar is designed to be directly against the neck, but by making it bias, it is easy to fit to the skin and does not wrinkle easily. The loose silhouette makes it easy to put on and take off.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Dyed with dyes extracted from plants and insects, there is a natural unevenness. As there is a possibility of color transfer, please refrain from using it with light-colored items at first, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item may vary slightly.
(walnut, mugwort, madder)
*Dyed with natural indigo. The color will become lighter with repeated use. As there is a possibility of color transfer, avoid using with light-colored items at first, wash with neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. As this is product dyed, the color and size of each item will vary slightly. (Indigo, Indigo x Walnut)
