SH-97M
Short-sleeved hemp shirt (mud dyed)
SH-97M Short Sleeve Hemp Shirt (Mud Dyed) 100% hemp thread is used for the warp and weft. Hemp is a strong fiber, but it gradually becomes familiar with the skin over time, and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton. The cool touch, which is a characteristic of hemp, continues even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in midsummer. For the history of hemp cloth, please refer to the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, Director of the Modern Hemp Cloth Research Institute , and for the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please refer to the article by Boken . The shirt is proposed as a Western clothing that constitutes modern ethnic clothing. The construction follows the rules of Western clothing, but the design has been stripped down as much as possible, and the pattern is made based on functionality. Specifically, the sleeve cap is tucked in and the bottom of the sleeve is set high to allow movement around the arms, and the yoke on the back is tucked in rather than gathered. The silhouette is slightly looser than the standard SH-03 . The buttons are all hand-sewn using thin white mother-of-pearl. SH-27 is a quarter-length shirt.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Dyed with sharinbai and mordanted with mud. Avoid using with light-colored items, wash alone with neutral detergent and dry in the shade. Threads, stiffness, and mud particles that come out during washing will gradually settle. Because this is a product dye, the color and size of each item may vary slightly.
