Soft hemp wrap skirt (plant dyed)
The fabric is similar in thickness to standard hemp fabric, but the weave density is slightly tighter, and after weaving, the fabric is processed at a finishing factory in Shiga, softening the firmness that is unique to hemp. It is characterized by the fact that it has the softness that normal plain weave hemp gets from wearing it for a long time. For the history of hemp cloth, please refer to the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, director of the Modern Linen Research Institute , and for the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please refer to the article by Boken . It is a voluminous wrap skirt that is tied around the waist with a long string. The waist position can be worn at your preferred position, whether high or low. Since it is a wrap skirt, it can be adjusted to fit your size. Depending on the specifications, it can be wrapped left or right in front. There are pockets on both sides, so it is also functional.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Dyed with dyes extracted from plants and insects, there is a natural unevenness. As there is a possibility of color transfer, avoid using it with light-colored items at first, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. As it is product dyed, the color and size of each item will vary slightly. (Walnut, mugwort, chestnut)
*Dyed with natural indigo. The color will become lighter with repeated use. As there is a possibility of color transfer, avoid using with light-colored items at first, wash with neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. As this is product dyed, the color and size of each item will vary slightly. (Indigo, Indigo x Walnut)
