Organic Cotton Sweatshirt

A fleece-back fabric made from bioRe COTTON organic cotton grown in Tanzania. It has a moderate weight that can be worn across a long season, an extremely soft feel against the skin, and the warmth and breathability that come from its pile. bioRe COTTON is organic cotton produced through the bioRe PROJECT, which operates in India and Tanzania. Rather than simply buying up organic cotton, the project has built various systems to help the people of these regions become self-reliant. With around 5,000 contracted farms in India and Tanzania, it is known as one of the largest and most advanced projects of its kind in the world.

A basic regular-fit sweatshirt. It is not bulky as a layer under a jacket, yet is balanced enough in size to be worn on its own in warmer weather. The side pockets work as hand-warmer pockets, making use of the nature of the fleece-back fabric. The side seams are set on a diagonal, making the pockets easier to reach.

Handling Instructions

*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fibre lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric. *Due to the washing process after sewing, the colour and size may vary slightly from item to item. (Natural White) *Dyed with Kishu Binchotan charcoal and pigments, there is a natural unevenness. To avoid colour transfer, avoid combining with light-coloured items and always wash separately. Colour transfer will subside with use. Because it is garment-dyed, the colour and size will vary slightly from item to item. (Charcoal) *Dyed in dark colours. To avoid colour transfer, please avoid mixing with light colours. To prevent colour fading, use a dry-cleaning detergent and dry in the shade. Due to post-production processing, the colour and size of each item may vary slightly. (Dark Navy, Charcoal Gray, Black)
