Wool Silk Camel Vest
An original material: cotton in the warp, and a yarn spun from wool, silk and camel blended together at the raw-fibre stage in the weft, woven and then fulled and brushed. It has the warmth of wool, the lustre of silk and the warmth and moisture-absorbency of camel, while the cotton in the warp keeps it light — giving it a texture all its own.
A vest with a basic fit that works as an inner or an outer layer. The generous hood is designed with especially cold weather and snowy regions in mind, and the deep overlap at the centre front reduces cold air entering through the front opening or at the neck. The buttons are low-impact nut buttons.
*After wearing, gently brushing the surface to smooth the pile helps prevent pilling. If pills do form, do not pull at them; trim them with small scissors. We are happy to advise on care at any time.
*Please note that, given the nature of the material, re-dyeing is difficult. We may be able to address stains and unevenness, so please consult us.
