Khadi woven mini bag
The Khadi used is a cotton fabric made mainly from Desi cotton, a relatively short fiber, with both the warp and weft threads hand-spun and hand-woven in West Bengal, India. The weft threads of this Sakiori mat are made from hand-cut scraps from cutting other products using Khadi fabric, and the warp threads are made from recycled cotton threads. The process from cutting the fabric to hand-weaving is done by the users of the Osaka workshop "Rashinban". This is a very simple bag that makes the most of the characteristics of the fabric. The handle is made from hand-woven cotton fabric woven in Burkina Faso, and the parts that need strength are reinforced with stitch work.
